Off Leash Dog Park

Off-leash dogpark2

Located on the North East portion of Centennial Park, west of the cemetery.

Off leash dog parks provide a community setting in which people can gather and socialize while spending quality time with their own pet, at the same time observing the interaction of groups of dogs at play.

In 2011, the Town of Innisfail opened up an Off Leash Dog Park as a result of its Envision Innisfail innitiative, and subsequent public workshops.

Features:

  • a fully fenced, spacious area for pups and people to interact safely
  • a combination of natural and groomed areas
  • complementary plastic bags for dog waste disposal
  • natural shrubs and trees, providing shaded areas
  • a thoughtfully organized staging area to introduce your dog to the park

Basic Dog Park Etiquette

Be Sure Your Dogs:

  • Have up-to-date licenses and vaccinations.
  • Don't chase the wildlife.

Owners Please:

  • Keep dog on leash at all times outside boundaries of park.
  • Have a leash in your possession at all times.
  • Keep your dog in sight and under your control at all times.
  • Clean up after your dog and fill any holes your dog may dig.
  • Leash and remove your dog immediately at the first sign of aggression toward other dogs and or humans.
  • Use park at own & pets risk.
Be a Good Steward of our Off Leash Park, and do your part. Always, leave your space better than you found it! This park is for both our pets and our fellow residents. Together we will ensure a beautiful and safe place to visit with our dogs!
